I develop and set up invoice checks tailored to your accounting firm. You receive an overview of possible errors before invoices are approved.

An invoice arrives twice.
In this proposal, an agreed invoice export is compared with available invoice history. First, I check whether the current system already handles this check.

The accountant receives a separate list with invoice references and the reason for the match. Both invoices are checked before further processing.
You receive exceptions in a separate list.
In this proposal, the accountant puts the invoice export and exported history in an agreed folder. Once the files are there, the setup creates an Excel exception list in the same folder.
- Information that can actually be retrieved
- I confirm access to invoice exports and history before quoting. A client's manual access does not necessarily mean the setup can retrieve the data automatically.
- Changed bank account or different amount
- Other checks are agreed based on which supplier details and purchase orders can be retrieved. The accountant reviews the differences.
How we build it for you.
We review the current work.
Bring one check you perform often. In the meeting, we choose one task and clarify what needs investigating before I can quote.
You receive scope and a fixed price.
A written quote describes the task, systems and deliverables. You approve before building starts.
I build, test and show you the setup.
We test with cases you know before the setup goes into use. Hosting, support and later changes are agreed and priced separately.
Questions about invoice checks.
Which checks can you build for us?
For example, possible duplicates, bank account changes or differences against a purchase order. I check whether you can access the information the selected check requires.
Does the setup approve or pay invoices?
The service described here finds and collects exceptions. An employee reviews the invoice and follows your usual approval and payment procedure.
What if our accounting system already has this check?
Then we investigate the existing setup first. Custom development is relevant if a specific check or follow-up is still missing.
Which invoice check takes the most time?
We look at the check you perform today and what can be automated in your systems.
